2023 Cuba Mission Trip

Next year’s Cuba Mission Trip is planned for February 10-17, 2023 and is designed to establish a long term relationship with the Matanzas Presbytery in Cuba and it’s churches. The deadline to apply for February’s Cuba Mission Trip is October 1!

Camp Montgomery 2022

The 2022 Summer Camp at Montgomery Center has wrapped up for this year. Enjoy looking back at some of the many activities, smiling faces of eager campers, and great staff that made the summer one to remember!

Welcome Dawn Mayes

Our presbytery welcomes the Rev. Dawn Mayes as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Fernandina Beach, where she began as pastor on August 15, 2022. Dawn and her husband, Joseph, have been busy settling into the Fernandina Beach community.

Cuban Fires

Our mission partners in Cuba have asked for prayers of solidarity as Cuba deals with a massive fire set off by a lightning strike at an oil storage facility in the city of Matanzas. This is late breaking news but we wanted to share what we know at this time.

Castor Project

The Castor Project is underway in Jamaica! The St. Augustine Mutual Mission has provided an initial grant to get the project started. Learn more about the Castor Project and how the funds are being used!

Tooth Bus Dedication

Ethel, the Tooth Bus, was dedicated on June 30 in Kingston, Jamaica. Read about the dedication, and plans for the Tooth Bus to provide dental care throughout Jamaica.

Faith Art Camp

For over 20 years, Gayle Bone, of Faith Presbyterian Church in Melrose, hosted summer art camps for community children at the church. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, art camp was busier than ever at Faith from June 13-24. Thirty-eight children (ranging in age from 6 to 16 years old) and one adult enjoyed working on art projects throughout the camp.
