The Coordinating Team of Presbyterian Women presented our annual Bible study, “Come to the Waters” written by Judy Record Fletcher on August 22, 2015 at Montgomery Presbyterian Conference Center. This event was attended by over one hundred women from twenty churches. Tom Weaver presented an overview of nine lessons which centered around the theme of “Biblical stories of water.”

The afternoon session began with Vickie Bossuot’s presentation of “Stormy Water” which all of us encounter in our journey of faith. Opportunity for small group discussion was encouraged between focus points.

The final presenter was Amy Camp who explained the history and meaning of the labyrinth. She later accompanied women to the Camp Montgomery labyrinth for a time of stillness and meditation.

Our mission for this event included donations to Camp Montgomery, Two Cents a Meal, and Presbyterian Women.

The Coordinating Team is now seeking new officers for 2016 from the Presbytery.
