Did you know the Board of Pensions provides education seminars to plan members, retirees, and churches and other employing organizations as a plan benefit?

The Presbytery of St. Augustine has partnered with the Board to offer seminars at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine next month. Limited seating remains available for these seminars, and the registration deadline is Friday, January 2, 2015.

On January 28, the Board will present Render unto Caesar, a one-day seminar to educate church treasurers, business administrators, active clergy (teaching and commissioned ruling elders), and mid council leaders on how to structure terms of call to be more cost-effective and to clarify clergy tax issues. Register to attend and gain clarity on these topics, ensure that your organization takes advantage of all the available options, and that your tax reporting and filing is correct.

On January 29, the Board will present its Post-Retirement seminar, a one-day event covering retirement living matters for retired lay and clergy church workers and surviving covered partners. Register to attend and explore benefit, financial planning, and vocation-related topics to help you make the most of retirement today and tomorrow.

Please note: there is no Board of Pensions registration fee, but there is a $15.00 per person meal fee for each seminar offering payable to the church.
