The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will meet in Baltimore next year from June 20-27, 2020. The commissioners come from every presbytery in the country to participate in worship, service, fellowship and business meetings. The Assembly is made up of equal numbers of teaching elders and ruling elders as well as advisory delegates (young adult, theological students, mission workers, and others). Serving our presbytery in this way is hard work but is rewarding and can be a life-changing experience. All expenses are paid for those who attend.
If you believe that God may be calling you to serve our presbytery this way, please let us know by filling out an application and sending it in no later than August 1. To be a commissioner, you must be a teaching elder or ruling elder (you do not have to be currently serving on your session). The requirements for serving as a young adult advisory delegate are on the application form.
