SUBSCRIPTION FEE PROGRAM

Q: What is this program?
A: The program is a way for member churches of the Presbytery of St. Augustine to invest in the future of the Resource Center. The fees are used to keep the center up to date with new technology and to purchase special resources related to the presbytery's mission priorities.

Q: When was the program started?
A: The program was approved at the October 22, 2002 presbytery meeting and went into effect January 2003.

Q: When do churches have an opportunity to make this special gift?
A: In the late fall, presbytery mails to each church treasurer the "Mission Program Remittance Report." This is the form that churches use to indicate their financial support of the presbytery and its mission programs. Line #6 is listed as Resource Center Subscription.

Q: How much are the fees?
A: The voluntary fees are based on congregational size:

0-199 $25
200-499 $50
500-999 $75
1000+ $100

Q: Can my church still use the Resource Center if it does not make this donations?
A: Yes.

Q: What has been purchased using these funds?
A: In 2003, software was purchased that provides 24/7 access to the center's catalog via the presbytery's web site.

Q: How many churches contributed to this program in 2003?
A: 23
