BORROWER POLICY
WHO MAY BORROW RESOURCES?
Pastors, church staff, individual members of congregations within the
Presbytery of St. Augustine.

HOW CAN I REQUEST A RESOURCE?
By email, telephone or in
person. Contact the resource center. |

HOW MANY ITEMS MAY BE BORROWED?
Generally, there is no
limit. |
HOW ARE RESOURCES BORROWED &
RETURNED? By mail or in
person. After hours returns can be placed in the book drop at the
Presbytery office.

HOW LONG MAY ITEMS BE KEPT?
Generally, one month. |
FEES?
No, except return postage for
resources returned by mail. Borrowers are responsible for replacement
costs of a lost or damaged resource.

At the present time, our resources
are not available for borrowing by non-members of the Presbytery of St.
Augustine.
SUBSCRIPTION FEE PROGRAM
Q: What is this
program?
A: The program is a way for member churches of the Presbytery of St.
Augustine to invest in the future of the Resource Center. The fees are
used to keep the center up to date with new technology and to purchase
special resources related to the presbytery's mission priorities.
Q: When was the
program started?
A: The program was approved at the October 22, 2002 presbytery meeting
and went into effect January 2003.
Q: When do
churches have an opportunity to make this special gift?
A: In the late fall, presbytery mails to each church treasurer the
"Mission Program Remittance Report." This is the form that churches use
to indicate their financial support of the presbytery and its mission
programs. Line #6 is listed as Resource Center Subscription.
Q: How much are
the fees?
A: The voluntary fees are based on congregational size:

Q: Can my
church still use the Resource Center if it does not make this donations?
A: Yes.
Q: What has
been purchased using these funds?
A: In 2003, software was purchased that provides 24/7 access to the
center's catalog via the presbytery's web site.
Q: How many
churches contributed to this program in 2003?
A: 23
