Q & A PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN RESOURCES Q: I seldom speak up in public but I would like to learn how. Is there a resource to help me? A: Yes, A Guide to Speaking Up is for you. This is a program from PW to help beginners, slightly experienced, and experienced speakers learn and/or develop their public speaking skills. Go through the lessons in this booklet on your own or with a group of friends. Q: I read a great article in Horizons last year but I didn’t save the issue. Where can I find it? A: The Resource Center keeps back issues of Horizons for several years and will be happy to loan it to you. Q: I’m looking for a PW Bible study from a few years ago. Would the Resource Center have a copy? A: We have all the studies from the 1990s and some from the 1980s. There is a good chance we can find the one you are looking for and lend it to you. Q: Quick, I need information about the current Birthday and Thank offerings. I’ve misplaced my packets. Can you photocopy and mail or fax the information to me? A: Yes, the Resource Center receives the current Birthday and Thank offering packets. But, if you need a complete packet, you need to order one from PW. Q: Does the center have other resources that might help me? A: Yes, we have a copy of: “Opening Doors” (8 minute video on the Thank Offering produced in 1992 “Celebrate” (8 minute video on the Birthday Offering produced in 1994) Q: How do I get in touch with the Resource Center?
