The purpose of the Leadership Institute is to further the
education of lay leadership within the Presbytery of St. Augustine.
One aspect of the Leadership Institute will be to provide a course of study
that meets the Book of Order requirements for a Commissioned Lay Pastor.
Although these courses satisfy the requirements of the
Commission Lay Pastor Program, we encourage anyone who is interested in
learning more about the Bible and our shared faith experience to participate
in these studies.
Individuals interested in the Commissioned Lay Pastor
Program must complete the following three levels of coursework to become a
candidate. Candidates must complete an application into the program.
