Cuba Medical Mission 2004
   


 

 


 Hearty thanks to all of the churches who contributed medicines and vitamins for Cuba. When we flew to Havana on March 1, we took 28 boxes full of contributions. They were very glad to have them since these items are in short supply there.

While in Cuba, we talked with the head of the Vascular Institute of Havana about a possible medical exchange with doctors going there from the USA to teach and do surgery. Look out for more details.

We spent time with Dr. Hector Mendez, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Havana, and with members of that congregation. We also visited two of the three chapels that this church sponsors in the Havana area.
