MISSION STATEMENT
The Presbytery of St. Augustine was founded in 1985 after the merge of the Suwannee Presbytery (PCUS) and the Northeast Florida Presbytery (UPCUSA). The presbytery currently has 64 churches in the surrounding counties of northeast Florida in Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Taylor, Hamilton, Suwannee, Levy, Columbia, Alachua, Bradford, Marion, Nassau, Putnam and Flagler counties. The presbytery also has two new church developments underway in Fleming Island and Gainesville (Korean). The presbytery has over 170 minister members and over 20,000 congregational members. The Presbytery of St. Augustine is a member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) and is within the Synod of the South Atlantic. ************
